Privacy Policy

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo.

Location Data: To show nearby card shows on the map, we use your device location or a manually set home address. Location is used to calculate distances and display relevant shows within your search radius.

Card Collection Data: You may create a Want List, add cards to your Inventory, log Acquisitions, and check in at card shows. This data is associated with your account and visible only to you unless you choose to share it.

Vendor Information: If you apply as a vendor, we collect your business name, a description of the cards you sell, booth display names, and table locations at shows you check in to.

Photos & Images: You may upload profile photos, card photos, and card scan images. Uploaded images are processed for content moderation to ensure they comply with our community standards.

Usage Data: We log search queries (e.g., card names you search for) and interaction data (e.g., which shows you save or check in to) to improve matching and recommendations.

Device & Push Notifications: If enabled, we may send push notifications to your device for match alerts, reminders, and other updates. You can manage notification preferences in the app settings.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display nearby card shows and calculate distances from your location
• Match your Want List items against vendor inventory at shows you attend
• Send notifications about matches, sales, reminders, and nearby shows
• Provide live market price comparisons from third-party sources (eBay, TCGplayer)
• Process subscription payments for Radex Pro and Verified Vendor plans
• Operate the vendor marketplace, including booth check-ins and inventory display
• Moderate user-uploaded content for safety and compliance
• Improve our features, search results, and overall user experience

Radex integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• eBay Browse API: Used to fetch graded card sold listing data for market price comparisons.
• TCGdex / TCGplayer: Used to fetch raw card pricing and card metadata.
• Map Services (OpenStreetMap / Leaflet): Used to render maps and geocode show locations via Nominatim.
• Payment Processor (Wix Payments): Processes subscription payments. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Apple/Google In-App Purchase: If you subscribe via the iOS or Android app, billing is handled by Apple or Google directly.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Vendor Marketplace: When you check in as a vendor at a show, your booth display name, table location, and inventory listings are visible to other Radex users at that show.
• Match Notifications: When a vendor's inventory matches your Want List, the vendor name, table location, and matched card details are shared with you. Similarly, your Want List card names are shared with the system to generate matches.
• Service Providers: We use third-party services (listed above) that may process data on our behalf to deliver features.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual items (Want List entries, inventory cards, acquisition records) at any time within the app. You may completely delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and row-level access controls that ensure users can only access their own personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Radex is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., California, EU/UK), you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Opt out of certain data processing or sales
• Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time via device settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app and updating the "Effective Date" above.
